Here are a few photos of the Heritage Open Day at Christ Church Walmsley earlier this month.

The church looked absolutely beautiful and we had over 35 people who came along, some bringing WW1 memorabilia. Brilliant!!!

Thank you so much to Derek and Mike for organising the wonderful display. We hope you took the chance to come along and see it. Derek, our Sacristan, was on hand to guide people through the historical significance. And we spoke to some amazing visitors.

Ann S made the lovely WW1 Commemorative embroidered wall hanging.

The stunning poppies are being made by Wendy & Anne in preparation for our Centenary Commemoration in Church on Saturday 3 November (2pm), with assistance and support from our local Ward Councillors.
